SENIOR ORACLE DEVELOPER

Oracle Developer will be designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle applications and databases

To apply for Application And Software Development, you are excellent at:

·       Design and develop optimized database architectures to support application functionality and data storage needs

·       Develop Oracle applications  using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports, ensuring they adheres to functional specifications

·       Perform performance tuning 

·       Manage data migration between systems and ensure seamless integration with other applications and databases

·       Conduct unit testing and debugging, systems integration testing, and user acceptance testing

·       Create or maintain technical documentation for database designs, processes and application functionality 

·       Perform post deploy monitoring activities to ensure effectiveness of program deployed and provide product maintenance/fixes, if necessary, as per project defined service level agreements 

·       Participate in team meetings like estimations, root cause analysis/postmortem and provide necessary information/details about issues discussed 

·       Provides constructive feedback to other developers through code reviews 

·       Provide process improvements that will improve efficiency in day-to-day tasks 

Implement best practices related to standards and control of software code 

Your Success Profile includes:

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any Engineering related course 

·       At least 5 years of relevant work experience 

·       Strong knowledge of SQL for querying databases, PL/SQL for writing complex stored procedures and functions and familiar with java and java scripting

·       Expert in Oracle database management like database design, performance tuning and database design

·       Semiconductor/high-tech manufacturing experience is preferred 

·       Knowledge on IT Service Management and ITIL processes

·       ITIL Foundation certification is optional 

·       Excellent problem-solving skills, sound business judgement, strategic and analytical capabilities

·       Strong communication skills.  Proficient in Japanese is a big advantage
