GL STAFF ACCOUNTANT

As the GL Staff Accountant, you will be part of our accounting team working on helping with the month close tasks to ensure accruate and timely financial reporting.  Primary responsibility to start will be Cash account reconcilations, with more responsibilites added as the Staff Accountant gains experience and familiarity with our systems.  

To apply for Accounting & Finance, you are excellent at:

• Prepare jjournal entries to support month-end close activities.  
• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconcilations and work to resolve any discrepancies.  
• Perform daily cash reconciliations using Netsuite.
• Ensure accrurate and timely reconcilations are prepared for all US business bank accounts.
• Maintain fixed assets ledger to include additions and disposals of fixed assets.
• Assist with year end audits and other monthly and annual reporting requirements 
• Respond to inquiries regarding general ledger activity
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Success Profile includes:

• Bachelor's degree, with an emphasis in accounting or finance.

• 1 - 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in general ledger accounting and month-end close or audit experience of those tasks.
• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software with advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to follow through on ass assigned tasks and take on additional work as needed.
• Uncompromising integreity and transparency.
