The Treasury Assistant Manager is responsible for managing cash flow, projecting liquidity, overseeing treasury operations, maintaining bank relationships, handling short-term investments, ensuring efficient treasury processes, and proposing and implementing policies for timely handling, processing, and depositing of cash receipts and disbursements.

  • Participates in solving problems, implementing policies and concerns within the organization. Assist in all BOD and Management (Mancom) reports.
  • Finalizes weekly funding of due payables, statutory, payroll, bank loans and Gov’t remittances.   
  • Prepares and provide cash balances and checks status report on a weekly/ monthly basis. 
  • Prepares cash outflow analysis as support to cash available balances summary. 
  • Performs monthly closing of disbursement entries to MS NAV/ Accounting software for KMC and other entities. 
  • Approves summarized payment list for online transfers based on funds availability. 
  • Sending fund transfer proposals and urgent payment requests to the CFO for pre-approval prior to processing payments. 
  • Monitors approval status and assisting approvers concerns. 
  • Reconcile AP Aging report. 
  • Monitoring of post-dated checks and posting of interest based on amortization schedules and other direct expenses.  
  • Closing of treasury ticket requests based on SLA. 
  • Regularly monitor the completeness and accuracy of the team’s checks/CV monitoring and master files. 
  • Identify and communicate with management opportunities for improvement in processes, workflow. 
  • Monitors team metrics to provide guidance to team members and suggest actions for improvement. 
  • Perform one-on-one coaching and monthly meetings with the handled team. 
  • Coach and guide less experienced employees in query resolution. 
  • Attend team and other meetings. 
  • Provide strong relationships with bank business partners and vendors/clients. 
  • Escalate matters to management as appropriate. 
  • Adhere to departmental confidentiality and compliance standards.
